As students of mysticism, we know that the mind within has a profound effect on our circumstances without. Human action is always preceded by thought. It follows that the type of thought we concentrate on and hold in our minds will reproduce itself in our outer world-for as within, so without. The Master Jesus said, "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he."  We are meant to be happy, healthy, and prosperous people; and happiness, health, and prosperity are the result of a harmonious adjustment of the inner with the outer - for as within, so without.
