Acceptance of Reincarnation

One criterion of psychic development might be if we know all the details of previous incarnations and the purpose of reincarnation. The very highest values of life are immaterial with no material proof. Questioning reincarnation for lack of material proof also questions the existence of immaterial nature. The acceptance of reincarnation is effective if in the forming of our own philosophy of life, we gain some peace of mind. Mysticism has generally accepted reincarnation. As we try to conceptualize and develop an individual relationship with God, we usually grow in the understanding of principles to support reincarnation. Reincarnation, as a manifestation of karma, is appealing. That the purpose of the soul is accomplished in one short life seems to diminish the idea of God and the cosmic. For believers, immortality of the personality is a logical explanation of incarnation.
