Dr. H. Spencer Lewis wrote that winter was a wonderful period of the year since we are reminded of the beginnings of life. The outstanding feature of life is change. The power to do is a result of the power of understanding, and that is the result of knowledge. Winter is followed by springtime when knowledge has been allowed to develop within us so that the dormant faculties within us are allowed to awaken and develop. Great changes are constantly taking place in nature and in the workings of the Cosmic and its laws on Earth. Changes are occurring every year, in every cycle and in every great period of time.
